The International Special Dog Unit (ISDU) provides fast, non-political and unbureaucratic assistance around the world where people or their livelihoods are threatened by disasters. Such threats can be floods, earthquakes or other events that cause humanitarian emergencies.
Assignments are carried out on a voluntary basis and are usually financed purely by donations. For quick and professional help, our volunteers are ready for action at any time, together with the equipment and material, they are ready and designed to be selfsufficient for several days.
in addition to international assignments ISDU also makes the experience of its emergency personnel, material and trained dogs available quickly and unbureaucratically within Germany.
