ISDU provides fast, non-political and unbureaucratic assistance worldwide where people or their livelihoods are threatened by disasters. Such threats can be vegetation fires, earthquakes or other events that cause humanitarian emergencies.
Assignments are carried out on a voluntary basis and are usually financed purely by donations. For quick and professional help, our volunteers are ready to help at any time, together with the necessary equipment and material fully resilient and designed to work autonomously for several days.
In addition to international assignments, ISDU also makes the experience of its emergency personnel, material and logistics available quickly and unbureaucratically within Germany.
