In combination with special training and equipment, we prepare our forces for the conditions of international missions and provide fast and competent assistance worldwide.
At the same time, we benefit from a worldwide network of organizations to help you locate, rescue and recover your services.
Work in the network
ISDU not only sees itself as a network of members among themselves, but also pursues close, cross-border cooperation with other organisations and authorities in order to provide effective aid together.
Fully volunteer
Although the work is varied and time-consuming, ISDU’s helpers work purely on a voluntary basis. From the board of directors to the specialist areas to the helpers in action. All members of ISDU work on a voluntary basis and without remuneration. The work is done voluntarily. This is the only way to keep fixed and administrative costs to a minimum in order to ensure one thing:
